About Our Company

Hello, I'm Gary Gravener owner and operator of Gravener Heating and A/C. In 1982, I opened for business in the heating and air conditioning field after 4 years of schooling and experience at a major heating and air conditioning company in Pittsburgh. I started working out of my home with one truck and a lot of ambition. I wanted to build a customer base that would be the foundation for the company. I wanted to operate with a commitment to honesty and personal service. Quality work at reasonable prices had to be the backbone of the entire business.

This objective continues to be the foundation of the business and that main reason for our growth over the past 20 years. Today, we have our business location on Center Avenue in West View Borough along with six service and installation vehicles, a complete sheet metal shop, a stocked service parts department and installation and fabrication tools and machinery.

We are family owned and operated. The office is run by my wife, Debbie, along with our two sons and myself. Our installation and service crews receive in-depth training on service and equipment, as well as, personal service. We pride ourselves on personal service second to none.

Over the years, I have found that the most important part of our job is to service the customer’s needs in a personal manner. We encourage all of our customers to contact us whenever they have questions or problems. After working for a large company and seeing how customers get lost and become just a number, I feel that we are here for you and are ready to service your needs in a personal manner.

I am not interested in doing volumes of work to become a large commercial enterprise. I would like to do quality work for you and your friends and family. Your referrals are the most important part of our success; I look forward to having my family service your family for many years to come.
